Join Erin Joosse for a 6 week home practice series which includes movement, meditation, and mindful writing.

Writing can be a part of spiritual and contemplative practice, a place where one can be fully present, responsive to the moment, curious and exploring inner experience. When we write with presence, it is a meditation, it is listening, it is hearing the small voice inside, it is giving voice to our innermost knowing.

Let’s join in community and practice writing our way home – through mindful, somatic practices and contemplative writing. You don’t have to be a professional writer to participate – I’m not! You just need to be curious and open to exploring how mindful writing might open you to yourself.

Each week in our practice together, we will begin with adaptable body-based practices – including gentle yoga and other movement. From this place of connection to our bodies, we will find greater ease in our meditation practice, and from the stillness we cultivate, we will write from our center. Through our practices, we will cultivate a sense of home, wherever we are.

Your writing will be unique to you! It might be journaling, it might take the form of letter writing, it might be the foundation of a story. With guided reflection and gentle prompts, we will dwell in an intuitive, embodied, and creative space together.

“Writing is ultimately a form of movement. Moving stagnant energy, moving grief, moving your arms and hands, moving forward, moving your heart, moving others, moving back into truth and alignment.” – Victoria Erickson
