CELEBRATE PNW SUMMER ON WHIDBEY ISLAND

A single cabin has opened up for this summer solstice retreat – is it yours? This is the last single rooming option available. All other options are shared acommodations, so invite a friend and sign up together!

I know you feel it…the taste of spring in the air (or maybe it’s pollen in your nostrils)…

It’s amazing how when those first sunny days of spring emerge how it feels as if I had completely forgotten what warmer days felt like. I know there is more rain ahead – we can thank it for the nourishment it offers the ground and emerging buds, AND we know that summer warmth is on the other side.

I am thinking ahead to our magical summer months here in the Pacific Northwest, and I can’t think of a better place to celebrate the arrival of summer than The Whidbey Institute. I’ve now been leading annual retreats there for a couple of years, and I will say the grounds, the food, the cabins, the forests, are all top-notch PNW beauty.

There are still some spots available on this June retreat – mostly shared accommodations (invite a friend!) – but I do have ONE single cabin remaining. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with a generous and kind community, find grounding and deep rest through our yoga and mindfulness practices, and savor the beauty of our Washington Islands on this sweet retreat.

A little about your weekend:

Contemplative retreat practice offers us the opportunity to pause the doings of daily life, and the chance to tune more fully into our bodies, minds, and hearts.

Through a balance of scheduled and unscheduled time, guided yoga and meditation practices, and time for rest, we will offer ourselves the gift of slowing down. Your retreat begins Friday at 4pm and completes Sunday by early to mid-afternoon.

There will be some periods of silence (mornings until lunch on Saturday and Sunday) to deepen your retreat experience.

I look forward to practicing with you in this beautiful island setting!
