Rosie Townsend
yoga instructor
Rosie has been a student of yoga for many years and started teaching in 2018. She is dedicated to creating an environment in her classes where folks can explore movement in a way that feels authentic to them and encourages students to make decisions for themselves around what their practice should look like and how it should feel. Since there is no one right way to do a yoga pose, she likes to show variations for poses and demonstrate the use of props so folks can feel safe and supported in their practice. Rosie also serves on the faculty at Harmony Hill, where she guides movement and yoga for nurse renewal retreats and cancer retreats. She loves the outdoors, is an avid reader, and is a devoted caregiver to her dogs.
