Ingrid Walker

yoga instructor

Ingrid Walker is retired professor and lifelong teacher. She has attended Source since 2009 and did her 200 hour YTT there in 2019. Over a lifetime of practice, her yoga teachers have given her a deep gift that she wishes to give to others.

The ability to watch ourselves and to notice what we see can be a sort of healing in yoga. After a horrible bike accident, Ingrid used her yoga training to mentally and physically heal over18 months of brain and body injuries. Now she’s studying traumatic brain injury yoga.

Ingrid works on kindness, compassion, and clarity through breathwork, postures, and self-reflection. Quieting the mind and focusing helps us practice life. Even a little effort is never wasted.
