|My biggest wish for you and for me during this holiday season is to have it be restful. I know, I know. The cultural conversation about the holidays – even during a Pandemic, (maybe especially since so many of us didn’t celebrate with loved ones last year) – is that things speed up. There’s a feeling of having to get it just right, of having to have things perfect.|
I have often written during the holidays about having it be “good enough.” The cat might be out of the bag already, but the truth is I talk and write about this stuff every year because it’s what I need to be reminded of. (Recovering perfectionist, anyone?)
This holiday season, you don’t need me to tell you, you just need to spend some time with these compassionate and thoughtful teachers offering these opportunities to rest deeply. These workshops will be offered online (i.e. time to gather up all your props, find a quiet space at home, and cozy up in your pajamas for yoga).
Join Shari Larson for a 3 week online Sunday evening series: Breath and Rest Through the Holidays, and access your own inner resources for resting and restoring during the busy weeks.
We are always excited to have Lori offer her Holiday Restorative workshop: Home for the Holidays. This workshop is free for our autopay members, and just $20 for all of our community.
So I say this to myself (and maybe you need to hear it too), prioritize rest this season. I hope to see you (virtually) for one or both of these sweet offerings.
