WTF: A Perimenopause Workshop

In Chinese Medicine, Menopause is referred to as a Second Spring–a time of wisdom and renewal. Yet in our culture, it seems to be a mysterious season of night sweats, vaginal dryness, and rage. Our society and even the medical system don’t know what to do with and for us, leaving half the population confused and sleepless for a decade.

How do we move toward the vitality and empowerment that comes with the wisdom of age?

Join Dr. Mandi Murtaugh, a Pelvic/Women’s Health Physical Therapist for this 2-hour workshop where we’ll take a ride through the ups and downs of this season in life. You will learn about common symptoms that come with shifting hormones, particularly as it relates to sexual, bladder and bone health, and what to do about them. We will also move through exercises to harness the power that is available to us in this shift.

Dr. Mandi Murtaugh, PT, DPT, WCS (she/her) is a board-certified Pelvic Health Physical Therapist dedicated to working collaboratively with you to help you live your healthiest, fullest life. Whether that means caring for your family, hiking in the woods, or enjoying intimacy with your partner, her goal is to support you in doing the things you love—without limitations.

Her passion lies in supporting individuals through all stages of the childbearing years, from those navigating pelvic pain or fertility challenges, through pregnancy and the fourth trimester, and into the wisdom of peri- and post-menopause. She believes each stage of life brings its own unique gifts and challenges, and strives to honor the cyclical nature of life while empowering you to move through each phase with grace and ease. You can learn more about her here.
