Yoga is often experienced through the physical practice—the movement, breath, and mindful awareness cultivated on our mats. Yet woven throughout each posture and practice is a deeper wisdom that offers guidance for how we live, relate, and move through the world.
Through dialogue, self-inquiry, contemplative journaling, and mindful exploration, participants in this six-week series will discover the philosophical foundations that have long guided the practice of yoga. Together, we will explore how the teachings of yoga are reflected in our movement practice and uncover meaningful ways to weave this ancient wisdom into everyday life with greater intention, presence, and purpose.
Cost: $90 for 6-Week Series
Meet Bonnie:

Bonnie Loghry
yoga instructor, MPH, CIYT
When Bonnie attended her first yoga class, after years of increasing pain from scoliosis, she felt as if she had finally come home.
Introduced to yoga, as taught by BKS Iyengar, she was deeply moved by the philosophy, the focus on precision, timing, and sequencing. A graduate of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco, Bonnie has been a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) since 2007.
“Yoga sings to my soul. I love sharing the practice with my students and, as someone with physical issues of my own, I really enjoy helping people to discover ways in which they can enrich their practice by finding modifications unique to their own needs.”
With a public health background rounding out her experience, Bonnie brings enthusiasm, a sense of exploration, and a healthy dose of humor to all her classes.
