Day of Spaciousness ~ A One Day Retreat with Erin Joosse


Date: Saturday, 8/21/2021,  10:00am -4:00pm

*Retreat is limited to 12 participants to ensure comfortable spacing for all. Proof of vaccination required so we can gather for the day with ease of mind and safety. Sessions will either be in a well ventilated space with exterior doors open or in a covered outdoor space.


In times of uncertainty, our practice can be like a life-raft keeping us afloat. Coming to our mat or meditation cushion can help us to find grounding through difficult times. As we move through the challenge of living through a Pandemic and find ourselves stepping into a new time, many of us have accumulated stress and grief. Let’s gather with intention to soothe and settle ourselves, giving space to soften and let go of the tension we might be holding in our bodies and our minds.

Slow down and give yourself a deep sense of spaciousness with a day of guided mindfulness and gentle movement practices. Unplug, set aside your to-do list, and take time to find stillness and quiet in nature and with community. We will practice for the day in a lovely, secluded space at Washington Woodland Estate in Gig Harbor, nestled in the forest, with beautiful grounds for walking and resting.

This retreat will include mindful discussion, as engaging in community may be what is most healing right now. Feel free to participate in group discussion as much or as little as feels helpful.

Bring a lunch for yourself, a yoga mat, and a journal. All levels of yoga and mindfulness practice welcome.

Cost: Sliding Scale – $85/$125/$150
